Here's an image from Malheur NWR in Oregon a few summers ago. This weasel at first ran away from me and my big camera rig but then snuck back up on me for a closer look. I think it may have had a fresh kill in the area from the blood marks on the mouth. Cropped for comp and to avoid a large white area on the rock in the bottom of the image.

This is very cool. I like the composition, soft light and curious look.

    Nate,
I love the light and the looks. The image is sharp. Cropping from the bottom has certainly helped as the rock would have been distracting. Thanks for sharing.

Love the alert pose and composition in this image Nate and the eye contact and detail are excellent.

This is a sweet image, Nate. Love the pose and how the weasel looks sharp and soft (as in cuddly - never thought I'd say that about a weasel! :) ) at the same time. Nice light and the weasel stands out very well from the background.

Nicely composed, colored, and detailed. That and a handsome subject makes for a great image.
