    I've been trying to work on my black & white conversion skills lately. This is a photo of one of my two pugs, Gracie. I just recently noticed that you can do a black & white conversion and add a tint while you're doing the conversion. Before, I always did the b&w conversion and added a photo filter separately...so this saved a step! I added just a hint of a sepia tint since Gracie is normally light brown in color.

    Any and all feedback is welcome - but especially in the areas of contrast and tonal range.

    Canon 40D & 50mm f1.4
    f2 @ 1/50th, ISO 640
    Indoor overhead lighting (incandescent), no flash
    Processed in ACR & CS4

    What a darling capture of Gracie Julie and I love the crop and your conversion work on this capture. Very nicely done. Congratulations !!!

    How adorable. I love having pugs in front of the camera. Great treatment too.
