    One from last weekend... I always love watching these birds move through the air, whether it's soaring high or coming in for landing like this one. I maybe wish for a little more DOF on this one to make the carp carcass somewhat sharper, but it was so picked over anyway, I don't know that it would've matter... lol.

    Great to get the fish in to tell the whole story here John, I think the dof is fine and more might have made the bg more distracting so I think this is great as is.

    Nice job John, I like the wing position. With the very deteriorated condition of the fish, I think a little softness on it doesn't hurt. The bird is plenty sharp from talon to wing tip. Thanks for posting.
