    Default Wood Duck

Photographed a couple of months ago. I never got around to posting this one; sort of got lost in the shuffle.

    Doug,
Outstanding action and what a beautiful specimen!
The technicals all look good. Well exposed, sharp, appropriate WB and contrast.

My only suggestion is adding some more room at the bottom.

Is this full frame or a crop

Nice action getting him right as he is off the water and with the wings up. I can see adding some to the bottom but like it as is as well.

I love the wing position, sharpness, exposure and background. A little more room at the bottom would be nice but that's a minor nit. Beautiful image.

What a beauty, Doug. Incredibly sharp, nice light, wing-position. Like everything about it. I question "room at the bottom" because it's nicely positioned in the bottom left corner for a balanced comp.

    What a beauty!

To me this compo is just right, love the variety of colors this guy has.
