    Lovely colors and sharpness, I particularly enjoy seen the eye. Great picture.

    Simon,

    Killer eye - it really grads you. I like the forward leaning stance - makes him look lean and mean. Perch works well as a leading line in the image but does not overpower. BG nicely OOF - vertical brighter bands are not dominate in the BG.

    Love to see seldom photographed birds on such a fine quality images like this.
    Details all around are sooo nice. The theoretically distracting white oof branches are not distracting at all to my eyes.

    Great find, details, pose and soft light. A cleaner BG would have been nice but I don't find it distracting.
