This is more of a photoshop image than a photo, i got my first in flight snowy and blew it . Sky was a dead grey no clouds and WB was blown so i decided do give photoshop a try and this is what i came up with.

As always your opinions are valued :)

HI glenn- magnificent girds that is for sure ... I really like what you have done with the feel of this one.
Like the wings down pose and the patterns of black markings on the wings :)
One my screen the head area is looking a little soft and wish for just a tad more head turn so we could get just a glint of that eye even.

    keep em coming.

    Hi Glenn,
I agree with Mr. Peters on his assessment. I would have liked to have seen your bird flying toward you, instead of flying away...also would liked to have seen a better head angle and a trace of the eye...would recommend on toning down the lower feather band of white which is a tid bit on the hot side...looking forward to your next one...

Putting alot of technicals aside on this one I really like this image. There is a certain air of majesty to the owl who appears to be climbing towards the heavens. The caste in the image also seems to work for me in this instance. The sky is a strong part of the image and is nicely done....
