    i like the compo too. the oof branches in the bg frame the squirrel nicely!!

    Great capture, Julie! I played around with brightening the subject a little and adding a slight tint to the sky.

    was this originally a vertical shot? I know the squirrel looks right side up now, but the image "feels" strange to me with the tree horizontal.

    I like the head angle and the face, and very nice job getting the bg to frame the subject.

    No, Cheryl, this image is me looking straight up at a branch that runs diagonally from the tree. It is literally at the exact angle of what I saw. They tend to use this branch to drop down from higher branches and this is the last one they are on before descending the main tree trunk.

    Dave, I played with lightening it up a bit, too, but was afraid of going too far. I think you did a great job on the repost.
