Your eagle is terrific - well exposed, nice wing position, sharp. The bg is kind of neat - first it's not trees or water (the usual bg for eagle images), and I think it has interesting but not competing structure. In fact, the angle of the sides of the bldgs seem to parallel the angle at the front of the wings. Looks almost Roman or Greek to me.
Cheers

Yahoo for you Dale!!! I quite like the structure in the BG, really different for and eagle image looks like it came out of a fantasy book or something..COOL!
Hi Dale,
You do have an unusual background...it actually compliments your subject quite well...your eagle has a pancake wing spread, not very complimentary, but with this side view, it's not bad. I do recommend in toning down the hot spots in the tail and on top of the head...for some reason, the mid-tones on the eagle look washed out...see if you can boost up the saturation slightly and adjust your contrast...you have a good head angle and sharp eye contact...looking forward to your next one...
I am soooo jealous. And the sharpness of the eagle as well as its prey stands in great congrast to the background. That eagle has dinner on its mind....by the way, what about aperture, speed ?
