This is part of the sequence of the Gnu/Wildebeest kill, shot in the Masi Mara Triangle. This is the result of a lengthy stalk that the lioness covered easily while we raced after her for about an eighth of a mile in a Land Rover, over boulders through gullies and bouncing across tussocks. This older slide scan has no detailed exposure information. Thanks for looking. C and C eagerly sought, I'm here to learn.

    John,

Great action and I like how you left a lot of room in the front of them. Similar comments as the other images on the scan quality except here the image is sharper and a bit better detailed.

I tried sharpening it and the noise/grain went bonkers. Selectively sharpen the heads of both may be a good bet.

Terrific action with the limitations of scans. I'm enjoying the series.

Hi John Love the action !!!

Not sure what scan are you using but with your quality of images sure would be worth tweaking. Any questions can post is digital workflow and I'm sure we will come up with suggestions !!!

    Hi Al,

Thanks for your response. I am now using a Nikon SuperCoolscan 5000. I'm Mac based. Old scanner was a Microtek ArtixScan 4000T. Any and all suggestions eagerly sought. Thank you all for your kind offers of assistance. - John

    John,

You know I love this series...but the scan quality isn't doing the scene justice....i hope you'll be able to do a rescan with your new Coolscan 5000.
