    Default Hoopoe

Was shooting this Hoopoe when suddenly it caught this insect, so could catch this moment.

You did well to get the low perspective on the ground on this small species! I would remove the darks OOF spot to the right of the bill, and you may want to try a panoramic crop. Good one!

Great catch for you and the Bird. A pano crop is a format that is long and narrow. Love the low angle.

Good low perspective, nice light and sharp detail. Although the bird's body is angled, the head angle is good. Nice capture!

Good low angle, Mrudul. You did well to catch it with the prey as they can be quite quick moving when feeding. Head angle is great. Chris' suggestion re a pano crop is good.

    Thanks All.

Yes it was quite lucky. While shooting I suddenly noticed that it had caught the insect, managed to capture the moment.

Thanks Tony, the panoramic crop enhances the image.
