From Echo Pond at Flamingo in the Glades from my trip. Friday late afternoon. This one spoonie was walking the edge of the pond while his other 3 dozen friends were lounging and sun bathing on the beach out of reach of everyone. I crept down to the grasses and sat down. He came to about 100 feet away and gave me two images and flew off to join his friends. This is a 75% of frame left here and is cropped for a 9x12 print. I do not mind the bg or the small sticks in the water. After all, that is where he lives.
Hi Grady Glad you found the spoons at Echo Pond !!!
I like the pose and feather detail, exp is right on !!! Sticks is the water are fine, fully agree with you. About the only suggestion I have is that you made the image standing, would have place the entire bird with a water bg rather than the wing at the water's edge. Excellent capture !!!
Nice wings up pose and head angle. I agree with Alfred that the shoreline intersecting the top of the wings is not ideal, and you could have avoided this by standing so that you would have an all water bg. Nice capture.
