    Default winter fireworks

There was a winter festival in town last weekend. We did have some rain and the the lake surface was covered with ice (for my eye, this meant reflection). I also wanted to include some of the landscape elements (blue tower) in order to give a local taste to the fireworks. It was fun to be out at night and still shoot a few long exposure shots.

It was probably +5 degrees F, with a strong side wind, we can see the effect on the fireworks. With a shutter release and a manual focus, I could operate with my big gloves.

Very nice shot Rene. You can see the wind blowing the fireworks!
