    Full vertical crop, hand held, natural light

    This bird was a good distance from me, and I was able to let it lift off on its own terms, the bird is picking up the brisk wind here and about to turn and head off into the direction away from me.

    Well planned and masterly executed. The comp is perfect for me as is wing positions. :)

    Beauty, Ray! I might play with the eye... darken the pupil and lighten the iris to make it pop.
