    On a snowy and overcast sky, we had the chance to walk very slowy and close to this snowy owl, observed it quite a while and suddenly it walked a few steps towards us, stopped and all of a sudden took off. Very impressive experience indeed!!

    I like the raised foot with exposed talon. There's a slight blue cast to the whites which should be easy to correct. I'd also like to see a bit more room up top and to the left.

    Got to love tha talon. Agree with Doug's evaluation and will add to have some of the noise removed off the snow.

    I love the walking pose with the raised foot. Good eye contact. Agree that the image is a little tight. I enjoyed reading how you captured the shot.

    Lovely posture and "presence". I agree on more space around the bird and a slight warming of the image overall.

    nice timing, more room towards left and below would convey the feeling that it is running towards your even better
