    Default Mugimaki Flycatcher

I was caught offguard when this little winter migrant landed within the Minimal Focussing Distance of my lens. Fortunately I had my extension tube with me.

A close headshot with hardly much else in focus. I like the head angle "Wassup?" or "you still fumbling?" look.

Yes, this guy looks like is asking for something!
Very nice head angle and eye contact. Sharpness is spot on too. There is a dust spot over your signature.

Great capture. Depth of field is very narrow but there is not much you could do about it. I love the eye contact and sharpness.

Cute expression, pretty bg, and sharp where it counts.

I believe this is the "are you still fumbling?" look. I've seen it many times on birds I've been struggling to photograph as I tried to get the right equipment together...

Wonderful pose and sharp detail in the head area. I think you did real well on such short notice. Thanks for sharing.

Love the pose and eye contact. The clean and colorful BG makes this one for me!
