Beautiful with exquisite light. I know tight in the frame is your style :)
    It does look 3D ;)

Thanks for you article, it's on now :)

    Fabs,

As shot there is a bit more room around the subject, as well as horz images in the bag ;). Actually, for the past few years I have been concentrating more on animalscape type images than tight frame filling images. However, if the subject and/or environment warrants a tighter framing to eliminate distractions or increase visual impact I am there as well.

    XXOO,

    Chas

I don't have a problem as you presented it, I like tight for emphasis too.

Nice dynamics in this image! I like how you use your wider lenses on the species you can get up close and personal with, it creates a different look.

Fabulous light and details here. I love well executed wideangle wildlife photographs and this one is no exception! Awesome photograph. I'd love to see a horizontal version as well...

Well, we're supposed to say why we like an image, so here goes but it might get a little long. First, the light is magnificent, the subtle shadows, as well as the long one do indeed define. The curious look of the bird as well as his cute pose is engaging. The colors, from his (or her) beak and feet to the dramatic sky with the various shades of blue, the diagonals of the shore line and the breaking waves all add a sense of place and complete this work. I also love the tracks in the sand. I could look at this image all day.

Wonderful job choosing the wideangle...the sky and curving shoreline in the background really set the mood. Beautiful light and pose.

Wonderful Image, I like the pose, light and seeing the habitat in background.

Don't know where to begin. This is one magnificent image. I guess the use of the wide angle is what gives it that special look.

Great job, Chas. Great illustration of the fact that you don't always have to point your shadow at the bird. Love the BG.
