Good catch to get the whole family in the frame, Rick.
As presented, it feels underexpossed, you had strong light and preserving the whites leaves the part in the shade too dark.

I like the feeding action and agree that photographing them earlier or later in the day would help with the exposure.

Nice capture of the feeding and the chicks head angle is perfect. Agree with Axel that getting this early or late in the day would help with the exposure problems caused by harsher light.
