Note: The harsh light and sun angle was a bit distracting. This was the best rendition without my speedlight.

This little guy was banking right with his landing gear in position before landing, at Long Key Nature Center in Davie Florida. He was painted with a Nikon D70s, using a Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4 D IF-ED lens, and a Nikkor 1.7 T/C.

These guys always look so startled, what a hoot! Fun image Gus. Is it me or is there some sort of shadow type starting at the head, down the neck and up the back?
