Nice b&w Al. The only thing I find distracting is that partial shadow in the LRC. Everything else is wonderful. Did you burn the trees in the BG by any chance or did the image just process with them that way? It's such a nice compliment to the white of his shirt on the other side of the frame.
Alfred, I like. Reminds me so much of when I was in Vietnam and saw whole families of five riding on a little Moped. Love the tonal range in the b&w. Really appreciate the symmetry of the darkest and lightest tones.
... Jules the shadow is me :) ...didn't want to take myself out !!! The bg dark area is natural, I was shooting T-Max flim and its a scan Could have taken more time but didn't since most of the time the area will end up looking straight. Need to get those scans perfectly from the start and I never did.
A good lesson for anyone scanning ... if its worth scanning do it right. The ones that I did over and got what I needed are just fine and workable... others like this one are just a record image :( Sure wish I had them to do over again !!!
Kerry seen some of those over loaded mopeds in SE Asia ... and they make it look so easy :)
