Australian Pelicans photographed on a bush waterwhole at Chiltern, Victoria. Is the light too uneven across the pelicans? I applied som shadow/highlights treatment.

Canon 40D, EF500mm f/4 + 1.4tc, tripod, ISO800, f/8, 1/500, cropped to panoish, catchlight added to severel pelican eyes and some white feathers at waterline removed.

I like the angle and details and might crop a bit more off the bottom and tone down the highlights.

Really like the composition but I agree with Axel about cropping a tad off the bottom. The low angle really is excellent on this capture Simon. Well done !

Great image Simon. You could probably crop most of the bottom off and make it even a panoramic! I am not bothered by the light (angle) at all.
