    Image was created on the Brooks River, Katmai NP Alaska. Nikon D2H camera with a Nikon 200-400mm lens, w/1.4 extender. AWB f 8 @ 1/500 sec. ISO 400. Cloudy bright and late September.
    You never forget a day or a Bull Moose like this. It was an awesome sight!!

    Very lovely well composed image Howard . I love the lighting and the action as well as the water being kicked up. The bank adds a very pretty touch to this capture, Many thanks for sharing.

    Howard,

    The ducks add a nice balance to the moose and I like his stance a lot. Overall I think you framed it well. Only thing I wish for would be for you to be more in front of him for a better head angle and a coming towards you look.

    The upraised front hoof is a great touch. Nice job on exposure and sharpness. It must have been an awesome experience!

    Howard,
    I am sure it would have been a stunning experience.I agree with Judy regarding the bank. It strengthens the image. I like its head gear. It looks like marching like a soldier. The body looks like scaled armour plates. :-)

    A great bull and a fine image... I might like a bit less FG to take the moose off the center line of the image...

    Impressive animal Howard. A little off the bottom works for me as well but so does the present version. A head turn towards you would be nice too (if the ducks weren't there) but he does seem to be checking them out so this head position works for me. Nice image.
