    Photographed at Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary in Topsfield, MA.

    This is from the same day as my previous post. When I first encountered the beavers, the only lens
    I had with me was the 500mm as I was expecting to be photographing songbirds.
    I got as far away as I could and tried some tight images before going back for the 70-200.

    The detail on the face is amazing, looks like I could feel it. Great eye contact and the branch in the mouth adds a lot. Sweet image.
