    I had good light and some nice reflections in the water when I photographed this Moorhen in Florida last month.



    Canon 50D, 500mm, f/5.6, 1/2500, ISO 640, +1/3 EC, no flash, hand held

    Nice pose and sharpness, Doug. Love the water patterns and colors. Good job on not oversaturating the reds on the beak. Well done.

    Got a few of these myself! Really nice water! glad you didn't overlook these guys.....not as glamorous as some of the other birds...but you made him look really good!
