    The miniature doesn´t show, but I am glad I came in! Despite the light that is a bit harsh, the natural momento, the great poses, the terrific sharpness and action put this one over the top for me! Congratualitons!

    Wow your timing was perfect and I love the incredible action you captured. The splashing water and the head positions make this for me. Love it !!!

    I liked looking at this one! Nice action, the light is however a bit harsh.
    I usually spend ALOT of time on the water with the Loons, but this year I will be spending alot of time on this species capturing their behaviors. Your post reminded me of how excited I am for spring!

    FYI... what they are doing is called "Rushing"

    Pretty cool capture Monte! It's good to see you posting again. Love the sense of explosive energy. You got a lot of DOF for f/6.3 and it really helps the image. Hope to see you on the beach sometime soon!

    I like the courtship behavior captured and all the water splashing around the birds. Well done. My only suggestion would be to desaturate that electric red in the eyes - maybe by 20 points or so.
