    Canon MK2n, AV 8.0, 1/2500, ISO 400, Evaluative, -1/3, 300 2.8 Lens, Gitzo Tripod with Wimberley 2 Head, from about 30 feet away at Fort DeSoto Park. An awesome place. A must do if you come down. Another 2 1/2 weeks here in the sunshine state! I meet fellow BPN member Allan Rube, a fellow from North Carolins bird and Camera club who recently meet James "Darth" Shadle and a few other bird nuts while here so far. It is a small world after all.

    Lovely light, Grady, nice compo and reflection. I may selectively blur the water on top and bottom, since it has so many weeds, good going :)

    I only wish for a lower angle as that would´ve probably given you a better BG, other than that, light, pose, water falling from the bill, detail and exposure are right on IMO. Congratualtions!

    Beautiful color and lighting in this capture and I like the eye contact you captured here Grady. I agree a lower angle would be nice but still lovely as posted. Thanks for sharing.

    Never get tired of that nice shade of pink against the blue of the water. Agree about minimizing the weeds with some blurring.

    Hey Grady,
    Another 2 & 1/2 weeks!!!.....what ??.... too cold in Maine:eek:. congrats on the spoonie! Another vote for weed blurring.....but still very nicely done!
