I found this little Grebes at Viera and was able to work him from outside my car lying on the ground.

Very well done, Don, gret detail and exposure and water to die for. Perfect head turn, what's not to like?

Can only echo Fabs, Don. Only additional comment would be to darken down the OOF pale spots in the lower left.

Love it, great head angle and light, lovely ambient and colors as well as detail, I would only remove one of the catchlights. Congratulations!

You did lots better than I did Don at Viera. I got a gator and a sunburn. Love the head turn and color of the water.

Sweet !!!!! Love the beautiful simplicity of this image and the wonderful lighting and sharp detail. The pose and reflection put it over the top for me. Congratulations on a stunning image Don.

Really nice! The sharpness and detail is excellent, as is the quality of light on the grebe. There is a light, yellowish green vertical reflection in the water on the right hand side that subtly draws my eye away from the bird.
