    I guess you will be better off putting that 600 home and shooting with 200-400mm VR. You are chopping legs. :)

    Maybe just a touch tight at the bottom and I'd like to see a little more room on the left and less on the right but other than that it's a beauty Stuart.

    Stuart, for the double Herons in Wako, the 200-400/4 is ideal, or a 300 with a converter. This 600 is too tight.
    Great exposure and interaction, it looks like he's ready to take off, going to dine in the other nest he's keeping down in the island ;)

    I agree 100% with the comments above, I also want to say that light is fantastic and colors are great as well. Congratualitons!

    All has been said but love the light and excellent color and detail you captured in this image Stuart. Also the wonderful action and eye contact. Look forward to seeing more with a shorter lens;);)

    The dynamic action & raised feathers along with the mirroring of bodies make this an interesting shot. I find that the big area of shadow in the middle is confusing to my eye and distracts from the important parts of the mage.
