I presume we're at the peak of the season for winter shorebirds on Long Beach Island. Here's an invitation for those who've recently been to Barnegat Light and environs to share their findings. We still have several weeks of cold weather to enjoy !

Hey Bill, I was at Barnegat light on Thursday with the gale force winds......tough shooting but there were long tails, harlequins, & brandts. There were also a bunch of smaller shorebirds a week earlier. No ice at all on the jetty.
