    how about a natural perch!? taken tuesday afternoon with denise and mike in jupiter.

    D300, Bigma at 270mm, f/6.3, 1/800s, +0.3EV, ISO 400, flash fill no beamer at -1.7EV.

    not much processing.....just a slight crop, set b&w points, selective sharpen bird and slight NR on bg.

    thanks for looking. i appreciate any and all comments.

    Well done Doctor Davis,
    I like the placement of your subject in frame...the color rendition is good, with sharp feather details and a good head angle and sharp eye...I like the catch light...the diagonal perch adds flare to your composition...congrats on a job well done...:cool:

    Harold, excellent! great details and pose! Love the all natural perch. I have a very similar shot I put on my web-site! I think I like your crop better than mine.

    Very nice on all counts! I think this would also work well as a vertical shot. Good job!
