    A not-so-unusual image of a duck, but a first of this species for me.
    1D Mark3, 500mm lens
    ISO 400, f/10, 1/800sec.

    Very nice timing Susan and you did well to capture this beauty under some pretty strong lighting conditions. Nicely done and great eye contact. Thanks for sharing.

    Very nice capture of a short moment in time. The 1/800s SS stopped most of the movement even in the wingtips, although overall there is a little softness that may be treatable in Ps.

    Great find, pose and eye contact. Does it need a bit CW rotation? I would selectively sharpen the head.

    You got'em up and reaching for the sky! Great timing.

    It may be due to file compression...but you might consider to try recovering some of the brightest whites that lack detail on his left side...and just a tinge more sharpening would complete it.
