This image is from Wako, the birds are shot from a fairly close distance-which I didn't know on my first visit. I realized afterwards I should have had my 500 lens on the 50D and my 100-400 on my 40D ,given the crop factor. But live and learn. also are the blurred wings a problem?

Lady Denise,
The background is fine, I like the blurred wings; it shows movement and forward flight motion...The color hues seem to be slightly flat on my screen, but yet again, I'm on my laptop now...
Really nice, Denise! I think you can squeeze a little more pop out of the subject. Try setting the white point on the white area just behind the eye. I used 250.250.250. Also tried dimming the background with a curves adjustment layer (by flattening the curve considerably).
Excellent capture Denise !!! All you could do different is having the wings on the up/down stroke Like it a lot
111 .... a real treat meeting you in person this afternoon !!!! Sensory overload !!!! :)
Denise, it was great meeting up with you yesterday. I love the background and the final repost is awesome! Look forward to seeing your images from yesterday. Congrats!!
