Gus inspired me (as he often does) to do a drop image though I will say that mine is a bit more traditional in appearance.

Two Alien Bees set to lowest setting for shorter flash duration
    and one 550 EX flash
    Canon 28-105 zoom

    God bless all,

    Hi Chris,
I like the lemon drop splash...the color tones and hues are very nice. You need to adjust the level about .25 CCW rotation..would like to see the introduction of the lemon wedge 1/4 at the top of the glass; this way your splash impact is much greater...on your next experiment; try mixing 50 percent glycerin and 50 percent carbonated water with one drop of yellow and one drop of green food coloring and see if you like the results...also have an assistant drop the lemon wedge from about 3 feet up (36"), this also will add to the drama...have fun...:D:cool:

Very good timing a great set-up. Colors are vibrant, and yes, it needs a small rotation. Thanks for sharing this.
