Hi Ed. Beautiful catchlight in this little junco's eye and lovely head turn. I do feel it is crooped rather close at the bottom and a larger F-stop would have put the tail in focus. Not being familar with this species I am not sure about the pruple hue in the feathers. Great BG. thanks for sharing Ed.

Nice details and eye contact. The image has a slight magenta cast and the BG needs a bit noise reduction. I agree that it is a bit tight in the frame, especially at the bottom.

Guess i must have been hallucinating this morning when i posted the image. The Junco color is a dark slate gray and white. I definitely see a bit of a blue cast in the slate gray. So I tried to reduce the blue a bit to darken the gray and I guess I inadvertantly boosted the purple/magenta.

Here's an attempt to back off on the purple. Any better?

The repost is better although still a little purple. Very nice head turn & lovely details.

The BG in the repost looks much cleaner and I agree that there is still a slight color cast.
