    Default GBH fishing

Captured at Shark Valley, with my Miami- Dade College class. There was a lot of activity, Snowies and Tricolored dancing, Anhingas flying and even a Purple gallinule too close to focus. A pair of Anhingas started a nest that day, right across from the canal, easy to see.
Background treated with Focal Point, from OnOne software.
    Hand held.

A real beauty Fabs. Love the dark BG that shows the habitat and your exposure on the GBH is right on with excellent detail. Would be a superb painting !!! Love it.

Very cool pose, details and soft light. The BG is not distracting at all despite all the branches.

I really like the darkness of the background on this Fabs... the tones and detail of the heron look great against it in my opinion. Great to see the behavior you've captured.

With the action, colors, and background, this one has a great feel to it, Fabs. I assume that you used Focal Point (I'm not familiar with that) to selectively darken the background?

Blur and darken, you choose the shape of the part you don't want affected and the opacity of the effect. Pretty cool.

    Thanks, guys!
