I stopped at this roadside scenic pullout one morning in June. The birch as a foreground for the lake caught my eye but the light and colors were so so. As we were driving through the Adirondaks one afternoon in October I kept looking for this pullout. I found it, the light and colors were great and this is the image. Any comments are appreciated.

nice colors, tom! it needs a little counter clockwise rotation to straigten the horizon line. personally, i think i would crop off a little on the right. enough to evict the birch trunk that is going out of the frame.
1/30s is pretty slow to handhold. a tripod would definitely help get sharper images. keep em coming!!
Thought I would take the advice of some of the others and I straightened the skyline and cropped off the tree on the right. I think it looks better, except I miss the color of the trees across the lake between the right tree and it's main group of trunks.
