This fellow is one of the locals at Shark Valley National Park. He was painted with a Nikon D70s using a Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4 D IF-ED lens, and a Nikkor 1.4 T/C.

like the open wings, great feather detail, and gorgeous sky colors. would have like it to be looking slightly toward the camera rather than away from it and that the tips of the beak and feet were sharp. sure beats any pics I have of this bird in flight!
