Started to rain but did not want to call it a day. Not an optimal set up for fast moving birds but did what I could.
Does the flower behind the head make this too distracting?
So far I have cropped, desaturated the reds, and sharpened the eye.
All input welcome.
Thank you, Tommy
For any image with a small bird in frame would place in one of the corners. Here move down a bit. Keeping some of those similar color merges would help out the image. btw much rather see this image than a sever crop !!! btw they are not easy to get and most of the ones you see ara at a bird feeder !!!
Hi Tommy - nice looking bird - agree with Al on the techs -- the red bird and the red flowers do tend to merge somewhat. Keep at it - patience is always rewarded.
good points above, i didnt even think about the bird/flower merge. totally agree with al!! would much rather see a small bird in the frame than a large crop!!!
Thank you all for the input it really helps. I have posted on other sites and barely get feed back. I appreciate the time put into the critiques. Thanks again,
Tommy
