Nice capture and excellent technicals but for me the light is too flat to give the image much punch

I too wish it were a clean background, tried to punch it up but wanted to stay true to the natural colors. Al, living in Florida you must see these everyday! But for a Jersey girl this was a treat!! Hope to get better images on my trip! I'll keep striving for better, thanks everyone for your input-it's always welcomed and appreciated!

    Hi Lady Denise,
I like the composition and capture...you have a good head head angle and sharp eye contact...I like the details in the feathers...this is a nice action shot. see if you like my tweak...

HI Denise - Gus's repost improves --- agree on the BG but sometimes you have to go with what you have. I am on a uncorrect screen today - do the white feathers have a bit of a blueish cast???? could well be my screen )

Gus, not sure what you did?looks a little softer?
Lance, I color-picked it in LR2 on a well calibrated monitor, not seeing the blue?
