    Canon 1DMKIII, 800 mm. F5.6. 1/1600 @ F7.1, ISO 400, handheld.

    Exposure is great, BG is very nice and comp is terrific too, love the pose and head turn! Congratulations!

    The head position and eye contact makes this a very striking image

    800mm, hand held!! Great shot. All of the esential elements of a good image are there. The lower portion of the frame, where the color bleed into each other, is a little distracting. Maybe a layer and some further bluring, or use the patch tool and bring the tones from the upper BG into the lower area, and then blend.
    Excellent on the bird. :-)

    This is a good result considering the "800 mm handheld" mode...no need for a workout after that. Eye contact is great and the BG is nice too. I really like to see the hole back of the bird. Great work ;)

    Lovely light, posture and great eye contact. Personally I would soften the line of the horizon.

    Great detail and the eye contact is awesome... really like seeing that top wing too. Very nice!
