    Default Great Landing

Was at the Merrimack River in Newburyport MA looking for Eagles. The Eagles were mostly uncooperative but the Great Commorants are starting to be active and entering their breeding plumage

Excellent pose and good complimentary colors on the BG. I may be tempted to crop some off the bottom for more of a pano look, but that is only a matter of taste. Wish the wings were not merging with the rocks.
The Greats are darker thatn the Double Crested we get down here.

Great light, pose and BG. The only distraction for me is the abrupt change to the lighter area of water on the left which doesn't seem to tie in with the BG that is visible

Light seems a bit harsh, but the pose is GREAT and very powerfull, I love the ambient arround too but might crop a bit from the bottom. Congratualitons!
