Good sharpness and a nice flight pose. These dynamic gliders are almost as much fun to watch in flight as albatrosses. :) I might add a bit of room at the bottom. The bird has a distinct blue cast - raising the color temperature would fix that. Well done.

Thanks. Currently, I am working on an unprofiled monitor at my desktop....Xrite can't be bothered to support the Optix XR in the Vista 64-bit environment.....there's an irony: my color managed workflow is limited to my notebook!
That said, now looking in my browser (Firefox 3.0 w/ color manage turned on) I'm not sure that it doesn't look a bit magenta to me....one things for sure, there is plenty of blue in the pic!

    I'll repost in a bit....

I've never seen one of these birds, but you've done very well with this image! Great sharpness and underwing detail. The blues look a little too blue on my monitor. Here's a repost with a black point and gamma adjustment, along with a little desaturation. How do you like it?

I like it, Doug! Better contrast w/ the black point bumped, and my monitor shows a subtle difference in the color cast.....

I like both actually :) Great pose, BG, detail, exposure and colors, sun was starting to get a bit higher than the ideal, but light is very god though. A bit more room at the bottom could help. Congratulaitons!
