    I turned around and there she was. Not sure who was more surprised, me or the wigeon.

    Pose is great, Gary. Sun pretty high in the horizon judging by the shadow and I'd back up in the blue saturation.

    I generally like a bit of shadow as they create a sense of 3d imho. But here the shadow is so prominent, and combined with the fact that you cannot see any part of the duck's eye, it bothers my senses. I do like the landing pose. Not often (around here anyway) that you get a duck landing right at you.
