Has anybody been able to find a good after market battery for this camera ? Seems Sterling Tek and other places I have checked don't have the Mk III batteries.
I bought a Canon replacement battery but never had to use it since one charge lasts very long. I haven't seen any aftermarket batteries for the Mark III.
Though not with this camera's battery specifically, my experience with aftermarket on the pro-sumer cameras and my 1D Mark IIn was all bad. Stick with the Canon batteries IMO.
Shortly after I got my 1D MKII N I looked into getting an after market battery and all the info I could find at the time was "Don't do it as they do not have good weather seals"
