    Hi All, been looking at all the lovely Jay photos and decided to post one of my own, I love these birds, they're friendly and tame, had one on my head and one on camera lens...I was eating an apple at the time, they wanted the remnatnts....saw this bird coming through the shrubbery and focused on a branch and go lucky he landed in perfect position....
    Would have liked a better background...at home it looks good but:

    I am using my computer at work, this photo looks light on this monitor, on laptop it looks darker which one is right?

    Nice composition Paul, it looks a little light and maybe lacking in contrast on my screen.

    Thanks Nate..Tried Alfred's "set the white/black setpoint in curves" seems to work pretty well at getting contrast right...Thanks for tip Alfred...
