    Default Brown Pelican Takeoff

Photo taken at Point Reyes National Seashore along the coast at Abbott's Lagoon with Nikon 2DX and 500 mm Nikon lens. Park staff and I were walking along the beach when we spotted the group of birds; I had them walk towards the birds as I set up the shot. The birds flushed as they approached and this was the best shot of a series of images.

Hi Susan, I like the pose of the pelican top right, the plane of focus is good, the background and blurred gulls in the foreground give a good sense of place. On the down side there are just too many overlapping birds.

Hi Susan I like your idea and the way the image was set up I also like the clean lower edge Does make a difference Would like the same for the front and back at lest the front Most bird mass images work best with clean edges Might want to include the tech info next time I like what you are doing a lot !!!1
