Wow--that little twig in the middle holds that bird without bending--I know that the owl is largely feathers, but still, this makes for quite an impression. I would get rid of the right-hand stick, which is going where it does not belong, and helps nothing in particular. The left-hand one is fine, as we see it in its entirety.

I can't look at those eyes for long without feeling the need to hide under my desk.

    Nice shot!!!

Very beautiful image with stunning eye contact and wonderful detail. I would prefer to see more canvas on the left and a tad less on the right as it appears to be almost centered. A slightly lower angle would be nice too but really a superb image as posted. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

Beautiful, but I think the eyes look unaturally bright....too light colored. Did you do much to the eyes?

I agree on the cropping, I always like to see the bird framed in tight on the butt, and open leading away in the front of the bird....

I did work on the eyes a bit, and agree maybe they do look a bit too light.

Excellent suggestions regarding the eye, crop, and stick on the right. Otherwise a very nice photo of a bird that I hope to see some day.
