    Hi Mr. Waas,
I like your composition and frameing...this is a very nice perspective...I like the natural funnel formation provided by the leaves, thus leading your vision into a down ward slide...also did well with the depth of field and the focus point...a few points to consider...the reds are slightly over saturated and the background elements are too pronounced...this takes the attention away from your flower...I adjusted your base image by desaturating the reds and desaturating the hues in the background also blurred and liquefied to blend in the elements better. I also sprinkled some selective sharpening along the contour of the leaves and the texture where the veins are...see if this presents well to you Sir...

Richard, very unique crop. Gus' re-post makes it sing. Nicely seen-has an artistic look!

Artistic indeed Richard. I'll be different from the rest, I like your version because of the fire in the reds. JMO

Sure wish I could visualize the flower itself The colors on the original seem to be on steroids but would like more punch on the re post Was thinking masking some of the flower, just the base and desaturating a bit? I'm a little confused over this one !!!!

Selected the strange part of the flower and changed the hue, not other changes

I guess I love color. I do like Al's version slightly toning down the red, but sorry, Gus, your version looks way too muddy for my taste. I guess that's why there's vanilla and chocolate (and strawberry red).
