This was taken a week ago on a very nice morning. Cormorants were fishing in open waters in a group (as usual), and the egrets were moving with them, lining the banks along the way. I thought i was lucky to get these two "in formation" as they moved to another location. I've made a very slight crop and some other minor adjustments in Lightroom and Elements. Is the water "right"? -- I believe this is the color as it came out of the camera. And are the egrets well-defined and sharpened properly?

Water looks fine Wendell Did well with exposure just the light was getting harsh, got some areas around the base of wings looking a little over.

I like both birds having the same position but not crazy about the wings itself. Much rather see the wings straight !!! Doing well with multiple ... and in the air !!!

    Hi Wendell,
I like the tight flight formation, and the reflection in the water, must of been flying very low...I like the capture...a few things to consider...You were shooting with very harsh light, and the whites on the birds are running hot...the water is a tad under exposed and I see noise in the background...I made a few changes to your base image by cropping from the right side of the frame, lightening the background a tad and adjusting your mid-tones...also toned down the whites on your birds and did a light pass of noise reduction...I like the sharp eyes...see if this presents best to you...

Hi Wendell - I like the formation of your birds and the reflection in the water. Agree with AL on the wing position. The harsh llight was your enemy here - probably the best you could get under the conditions :)

    looking forward to more :)
