    Bienvenue sur BPN!

If you are okay with cloning, I would suggest removing the post as it pulls my eye away from the owl. I love the wing blur and outstreched talons. I am thinking that maybe a horizontal 8x10 aspect ratio would strenghthen the composition but I am not sure. I wish that we could see his eyes a little better but I like it anyways.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you take this one?

    Salut,

    Belle photo dynamique !

I think Joel's critique is excellent. I have no idea what Guy said. I would remove the post, and go with a horizontal crop. If only you had a little more eye contact. Thanks for sharing!

IMHO I would keep the post. It gives me a sense of
time sequence of the action (where from, where to?)
    and overall balance.
I kinda don't prefer all of the margin meeting the same color...

    Cheers,

    Sorry Doug,

If you remove the pole, you have to change the name topic "TakeOff"

As for me, I do not touch this image. Of this pole that the bird taken off this momentum, so it is part of the scene.

    Beautiful shot Martin!
I prefer the post left in because it gives context to the pose.

    The post should stay.
