Default Idaho Barn Closeup with Vehicles

This is a closeup of the vehicles under the collapsing barn that I posted yesterday. This is an example of a picture within a picture. I lightened the shadows some but thought it would not look good if I lightened them more. Any suggestions are welcome.

    Tom,

I would have gone in even closer right on the trucks too. If you have not tried HDR yet - this would be a killer subject. I cover HDR in my workshops.

I like how the fallen beams create a frame for the cars. Tough light that I tried to tame in the repost as follows.

    1) Selection of Highlights using CTRL-ALT-~.
    2) CTRL-J to copy selection as a layer.
    3) Change blending mode of that layer to Multiply.
    4) Reverse s-curve to lower contrast.

1, 2 and 3 darken the highlights and 4 loweres overall scene contrast. I did not correct the bump in saturation that occurred.

    See the following for specifics.

Great find. There wasn't a vintage Corvette in there was there? The re post is better, but the original still is very nice. I particularly like the way all the colors compliment each other.
